"Arts and Farts and Floss" aka "NYC Flossin'"
Standard white floss stick spotted outside the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, March 2012

I spotted this little gem on the streets of New York City, just outside the Museum of Modern Art.  Culture!
I have to admit that my date that day (Mom) found it a little bit weird that I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk to bend down and take this picture like a crazy person, but I think she'd agree that this blog and the inevitable fame and fortune that come with it have made all the embarrassment worth while.
I guess this entry proves that flossing n' tossing isn't just an Atlanta phenomenon, but I think everyone already knew that.  People in almost every city and town have teeth, and in a lot of these places people are probably going to care about getting food debris out of them.  You don't have to be (Isaac) Einstein to figure out that floss sticks on the ground are just the natural result of this cycle.  But littering still sucks, and dropping used floss sticks on the ground in public is still weird to me.
Unless this was part of a new street art installation that I wasn't aware of, in which case I fully support it.
